The Northern Seas map was created for a contest alongside the Cherry Grove map by user DryiceNightfury. While the map has been a topic of controversy due to its layout encouraging camping, none can deny that fighting among the creatures of the frozen seas is really cool.
The best strategy for Northern Seas is not selecting Northern Seas. Other than that, choosing any ranged class and setting up camp on one of the maps many structures is the way to go.
